In Like a Lion
March sure did rampage its way into my life this year, starting out with a big snowstorm and a fast approaching deadline I had to deal with. The good news is I came out the other side unscatched from both. That does, however, leave the rest of this month, which is going to be a doozy!
The biggest news is my upcoming visit to Authorcon 2 in Virginia, from March 31st to April 2nd. I’ll be there vending, selling and signing all of my books as well as sculptures (which I still have to paint). There will be 20 pieces available for each of the main sculptures (Devil's Creek Idol, Necronomicon magnet, eyeball creature magnet), and a few other random casts I did while working. You can see a couple in the picture below.
This is the first big convention I’ve ever worked, so of course I’m equal parts excited and anxious. From what I hear, this event is huge, so if you’re able to make it, you won’t want to miss out.
In other news, my new novel has a full page ad in the new issue of Remind magazine!
I've also been hard at work on multiple articles for the 80sXchange, one or more of which might have topics you're interested in:
A look back at my retro game collection while cataloging it with an app called Gameye.
The limitless fun of recording our own fake radio station onto cassette tape.
Finally, we also had a new positive review from Agent Palmer of The Palmer Files. This coming Tuesday will see the release of the podcast episode I did with him too.
As usually, I’m sure I’m forgetting a few major items of note, but I’m also completely burnt out and in need of rest. So, If I forgot anything, I guess it’ll just have to wait until the first official newsletter of Spring! Until then, Breathe deep of the night.
