Corey Feldman Reviews Our Novel
Hey gang,
Welcome to the February edition of whatever I ended up calling this newsletter (Letters from Moon Hill? The Last Gasp? Twelve Hungry Rhinoceroses?) I’ll attempt to stay on a once-a-month schedule for this electronic communication, though I’m bound to skip a month here or there, depending on newsworthy announcements.
This month, I have one epic piece of information of which I’d hate to deprive you. If you follow me on other social media platforms, you’ve no doubt already heard that Corey Feldman (The Goonies, The Lost Boys, Friday the 13th IV) read and reviewed my upcoming novel, Tommy and the Order of Cosmic Champions. My partner in this project, Anthony Grate, not only set up this review, but apparently has contacted a few more 80s child stars to do the same. Keep on eye on upcoming newsletters for more, but for now, here’s Corey’s video review:
(SPOILER WARNING - This review contains a general synopsis of the story (nothing too specific, and no mention of the ending). However, If you would prefer no details at all be revealed to you, skip the section of the video from 1:43 to 8:24.)
In other news, the last anthology I appeared in has continued to do very well on the Amazon charts. If you have yet to pick up Liminal Spaces: An Anthology of Dark Speculative Fiction, why not read the free preview on Amazon and consider a purchase?
Otherwise, I’ve been plugging away at a couple new stories, submitting my other novel for publication, and teaching my spring semester classes. I have a vague, simmering idea for a new novel/novella as well, but I’ll save that for a future newsletter.
I hope 2022 is treating everyone okay so far. What are your plans for Valentine’s Day? Watched any good horror movies lately? Stuck in an infinite time loop since Groundhog Day?
Until next time,
Breathe deep of the night.
